Will You Accept This Rose?

“The Adopter” Pet Adoption Event to Find Homes for Dogs from Hoarding and Neglect Cases

New event dates are noted in bold below

Tulsa, Oklahoma – Oklahoma Alliance for Animals (OAA), along with our friends at Sapulpa Furry Friends and Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts (CARE), are hosting a special “The Bachelor” themed pet adoption event this Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the former Pier One in the Farm Shopping Center. Lots of adoptable dogs and cats will be searching for love and an adoption proposal.
OAA will have dogs up for adoption, including many that were rescued from hoarding and neglect cases over the past few months. All dogs are up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
CARE will also have dogs available for adoption both days. Sapulpa Furry Friends will be on-site Sunday with lots of felines just waiting for the purr-fect match.
There will be a kissing and photo booth to take pictures with your adopted pet. From 12 to 1 p.m. both days, Thor (the dog that was brought in a trash bag to the ER vet with a bullet wound) will be there giving out smooches. We are also offering free metal engraved pet ID tags for all adopted pets. Tags for the public are $5.
In true “The Bachelor” fashion, we have the ability to facilitate one-on-one dates with your possible pet or group dates with your existing pet. If you decide to give an adoptable pet your final rose, Midtown Kia will be making a donation in your honor to Oklahoma Alliance for Animals.
“OAA has rescued more than 30 dogs over the past few months from hoarding and neglect cases. They are all in need of love and the best forever homes. This is going to a be a big adoption event, with so many great pets available. We hope you’ll come join us and give ‘your final rose’ to a pet in need,” says Erin Shackelford, OAA executive director.
“The Adopter” is being held at 5255 South Sheridan, Tulsa, OK 74145. Masks are required in the building.
