TULSA, Okla., (May 11, 2023) – The Meadow Gold District located on 11th Street between Peoria & Utica Avenues is hosting its second Dog Days of Summer event on Saturday June 3 from 10A.M. to 3 P.M. The event will provide an opportunity for the community to come out and enjoy a fun day with their favorite four-legged friends. The presenting sponsor is Kelly Fiddner – Farmer’s Insurance.
Attendees will enjoy dog-themed events including a pet costume contest with prizes, judged by local celebrities, at 12 P.M under the iconic Meadow Gold sign. Pop-up vendors featuring pet merchandise, a pet photo booth and artists will be set up at various locations throughout the district. Spirit Ranch Dog Training will provide a doggie water splash pad during the day to keep pets cool and will have Pups and Tricks shows as well.
The Dog Days of Summer event will feature multiple entertainment venues throughout the district. Balloon artists and face painting will delight and engage visitors both young and young at heart. A car show with vintage and classic cars will be shined up and parked at 11th St & St. Louis Ave. Breakfast and lunch are always available from the tasty selection of district restaurants.
